Tasneem, Mahmoud and baby Asia have the funds that they need to leave Rafah and are on the list to go to Egypt. Tasneem is simultaneously in the heart-breaking situation of leaving behind her four brothers, who are her only remaining immediate family. Her youngest brother is 12 years old. We have the opportunity to work together to keep their family together and save four additional lives.
Tasneem sent me the above pictures of her family soon after we became friends. Every single time we speak and connect she shares her despair about leaving them behind. We have the power within our networks to keep them together and save their lives.
In addition to raising funds to evacuate them, Tasneem is also in need of funds to feed and shelter them to ensure their survival after she leaves.
Each of Tasneem's brothers has hope and dreams that they deserve to realize.
Ikram is 20 years old. He did not finish his studies. His university was bombed and he did not complete his education in the field of nursing. His dream was to be a doctor of physical therapy, but the war greatly affected his future. He lost his home and his family in the war and has no shelter. He lives in Gaza under the worst harsh conditions. There is no money. He supports his three younger brothers.
Moatasem is 18 years old. He dreams of being a teacher, but the genocide ended his education and university, and he did not complete his studies.
Anas is 15 years old and Aba is 12 years old. These young people are without a mother or father. Tasneem is currently thier primary caregiver and she is soon leaving to save her child.
